Aeroseal FAQs

Get answers to common questions about duct sealing

Aeroseal is a patented duct sealing technology that seals leaks from the inside. We pressurize your duct system and introduce aerosolized sealant particles. These particles naturally find and seal leaks as air escapes, sealing gaps up to 5/8 inch without any demolition or guesswork.
The investigation takes 1-2 hours, the actual Aeroseal repair takes 4-6 hours per system, and post-seal verification takes 1-2 hours. Most homes are completed in a single day.
The sealant is minimally toxic and safe once cured. However, we recommend being away from the home during the process. Pets, especially reptiles and aquatic creatures, should be removed during the service.
Most homes lose 20-30% of conditioned air through duct leaks. By sealing these leaks, you can see significant reductions in energy bills—often 20-40% depending on the severity of your duct leakage.
Yes, Aeroseal comes with a 10-year warranty on the seal. You also receive a certificate showing your before-and-after leakage measurements as proof of the improvement.
